Abstract

Na globalnoj razini potrošnja enegije znatno se povećala, što uključuje i povećanje korištenja
fosilnih goriva. Stoga je potrebno preusmjeriti globalno razmišljanje na način da se fosilna
goriva zamjene alternativnim odnosno obnovljivim, ekološkim i učinkovitim izvorima energije.
Na godišnjoj razini stvaraju se velike količine biomase, stoga bi energija iz biomase donijela
gospodarske prednosti kao što su smanjenje emisija stakleničkih plinova, zaštita tla, otvaranje
novih radnih mjesta te stvaranje novih tehnologija i to sve u svrhu održivog razvoja.
Cilj istraživanja bio je utvrditi mogućnost korištenja alohtone invazivne biljne vrste amorfe
(Amorpha fruticosa L.), preostale nakon njezinog uklanjanja iz prirode prilikom krčenja
šumskih terena, kao sirovine za izravno izgaranje te proizvodnju toplinske energije. Biomasa
amorfe služila je kako bi se utvrdio njezin energetski potencijal s ciljem proizvodnje bioulja
kao energenta te biougljena kao proizvoda dodane vrijednosti.

Abstract (english)

Globally, world fuel consumption has increased considerably, including increased use of fossil
fuels. Therefore, it is necessary to redirect global thinking by replacing fossil fuels with
alternative namely renewable, ecological and efficient sources of energy. Big amounts of
biomass are generated on an annual basis, so biomass energy has brought economic benefits
such as reducing greenhouse gas emissions, soil protection, opening up new jobs and creating
new technologies for sustainable development purposes.
The aim of the research was to determine the possibility of using invasive alien plant species of
Amorpha (Amorpha fruticosa L.), remaining after its removal from nature during the grazing
of forest areas as raw material for direct combustion and the production of heat energy. The
amorphous biomass has been used to determine its energy potential with the aim of producing
bio-oil as an energy source and biochar as a value-added product.
