| Abstract | Naglim porastom broja visokih poslovnih škola, postavlja se pitanje ukupne kvalitete visokog obrazovanja te u kojoj mjeri iste „ugrožavaju“ već desetljećima dobro uhodane državne fakultete. Stoga, osnovni cilj ovog rada je utvrditi motive upisa i zadovoljstva studenata dviju institucija visokog obrazovanja u okviru jednakih područja izučavanja, poslovne ekonomije, odnosno menadžmenta bankarstva, osiguranja i financija, no različitog statusa osnivača - Ekonomskog fakulteta Zagreb kao državnog fakulteta te Visoke poslovne škole Libertas, kao privatne škole na razini preddiplomskog i diplomskog studija. Također, posljedično svemu cilj je istražiti postoje li razlike u motivima upisa i zadovoljstvu studenata tih dviju institucija te ispitivanjem korelacija, odrediti koji od elemenata zadovoljstva (kvalitete nastavnog osoblja, nenastavnog osoblja, okruženja i organizacije studija) najviše utječe na njihovo ukupno zadovoljstvo. Istraživanje možemo zaključiti tvrdnjama kako je Visoka poslovna škola Libertas, u svim ispitanim segmentima, od pojedinih elemenata zadovoljstva, do ukupnog zadovoljstva ispred Ekonomskog fakulteta Zagreb. Što se tiče pojedinih elemenata zadovoljstva, Visoka poslovna škola Libertas zadovoljava ocjenama od „niti zadovoljan/na niti nezadovoljan/na“ do ocjene „zadovoljan/na“, dok Ekonomski fakultet Zagreb karakteriziraju ocjene od „nezadovoljan/na“ do „niti zadovoljan/na niti nezadovoljan/na“. Gledajući ukupno zadovoljstvo, studenti su u svim njima ponuđenim tvrdnjama složni – za Ekonomski fakultet Zagreb prilično indiferentni dajući mu prosječnu ocjenu 3, dok s Visokom poslovnom školom Libertas zadovoljni dajući joj prosječnu ocjenu 4. Takvo što je za Libertas jako pozitivan rezultat istraživanja gledajući osnovni motiv upisa na isti, a što je interes za izučavanje područja ekonomije, a koji Visoka poslovna škola ispunjava na izrazito visokoj razini prema ocjenama studenata. S druge strane, kao osnovni motiv upisa, studenti EFZG-a navode veću mogućnost zaposlenja nakon završetka studija u odnosu na mogućnost zaposlenja nakon završetka drugih ekonomskih fakulteta, a što se u konačnici dovodi u pitanje s obzirom na njihovu indiferentnost prema ukupnom zadovoljstvu. Također, ono što ugrožava reputaciju obje institucije i element je na koji bi obje trebale više pripaziti - na EFZG-u nenastavno osoblje, a na Visokoj poslovnoj školi Libertas nedovoljan broj izbornih kolegija. |
| Abstract (english) | Due to the rapid increase in the number of Business Schools, the question regarding overall quality of higher education and the extent to which they are threatening a well established public universities that stand for decades is imposed. Therefore, the main purpose of this paper is to determine the motives of enrollment and students' satisfaction with two institutions of the same study area, business economics and management banking, insurance and finance, but different status of founder – The Faculty od Economics and Business Zagreb is public university and Libertas Business School is private school, both on the undergraduate and graduate level. Also, consequently, the goal is to analyse whether there are some differences in the enrollment motives and students' satisfaction between these two institutions and also examining the corellation to determine which of the elements of satisfaction (the quality of teachers, non-teaching staff, environment and organization) influence the most overall students' satisfaction.
We can conclude the study with facts that Libertas is, in all examined segments, including the elements of sastisfaction and overall satisfaction, better than The Faculty of Economics and Business Zagreb. Regarding the elements of satisfaction, Liberas Business School has grades between „neither satisfied nor dissatisfied“ to „satisfied“, while The Faculty of Economics and Business Zagreb has grades between „dissatisfied“ to „neither satisfied nor dissatisfied“. On the other side, considering the overall satisfaction, students agreed with all offered statements – for The Faculty of Economics and Business pretty indifferent with the average rating 3 and for the Libertas satisfied giving the average score 4. This result is very positive for Libertas if we consider the most important enrollment motive, which is the will to study economics area, and which Libertas meets at extremely high level according to the students' grades. On the other hand, students of The Faculty of Economics and Business Zagreb chose, as the main motive of enrollment, more opportunities for employment after getting diploma than they could have after graduating from some other economics faculties. However, after results of the questionnaire, this statement is questionable. What threatens the reputation of The Faculty of Economics and Business Zagreb the most is non-teaching staff and the reputation of Libertas is not so wide ability to choose elective courses, so both institutions should pay more attention to these elements. |
