Abstract

Imovinska osiguranja sklapaju se kad postoji interes vlasnika da zaštiti svoju imovinu od prijetećih opasnosti. Danas, osiguranje imovine i imovinskih interesa dobiva sve važniju ulogu u drvnoj industriji. U Republici Hrvatskoj, drvna industrija postavljena je kao jedna od strateških grana hrvatskog gospodarstva. Ona bilježi sve veći broj zaposlenih te sve veći udio u vanjskotrgovinskoj razmjeni zahvaljujući kvalitetnim drvnim proizvodima koji su oduvijek bili prepoznati na europskim i svjetskim tržištima. Ovaj rad naglašava važnost osiguranja imovine u industrijskim djelatnostima kako bi se prilikom nastupa šteta velikih razmjera održala opstojnost i financijska stabilnost poslovnih subjekata koji posluju unutra drvne industrije.

Abstract (english)

Property insurance shall be concluded when there is an interest of the owner to protect his property from imminent danger. Today, property insurance and property interests gets increasingly important role in the wood industry. In Croatia, the wood industry is set as one of the strategic sectors of the Croatian economy. It records an increasing number of employees and increasing share in foreign trade for quality wood products that have always been recognized in European and world markets. The present paper will show the importance of property insurance in industrial activities in order to show when damage is caused maintain the viability and financial stability of businesses that operate in the wood industry.
