Abstract

Informatizacija pod utjecajem globalizacije i razvitka informacijskih i komunikacijskih
tehnologija ostavlja neposredne utjecaje na gospodarsku aktivnost u svjetskim razmjerima.
Indeksom mrežne spremnosti ukazalo se na usku povezanost stupnja razvijenosti zemlje i
opsega primjene informacijskih i komunikacijskih tehnologija u izvođenju svakodnevnih
poslovnih i društvenih aktivnosti. Zahvaljujući prije svega raširenijoj uporabi najnovijih
tehnologija u kućanstvima i kod pojedinaca, a ne kod poduzeća, Republika Hrvatska ne
zaostaje za trendovima u Europskoj uniji. Izostankom ulaganja u istraživanje i razvoj
inovacija dovelo je do neravnomjernog razvoja sektora unutar industrije. Usmjerava se veća
pozornost na učinke koje inovacijske tehnologije imaju na gospodarski razvoj, te se nastoji
putem klaster inicijativa, kao polugom za daljnji razvoj tehnologija, potaknuti rast
proizvodnje i izvoza proizvoda i usluga temeljenih na informacijskim i komunikacijskim
tehnologijama.

Abstract (english)

Informatization under impact of globalization, development of information and
communication technology make indirect impact on economic activity on a global scale.
Network Readiness Index indicated close connection between the level of development of the
country and application volume of information and communication technologies in
performing everyday business and social activities. Croatia is within the trend of using latest
technologies by households and private individuals when is compared to European Union
average, while it lags in the terms of technology use by companies. Absence of investment in
R&D had led to uneven growth of sectors within industry. Focus of this work is directed to
the effects which inovation technology has on economic development and it strives through
cluster initiatives, as a lever for further development of technology, stimulate producation
growth, export of products, and development of services based on information and
communication technologies.
