Abstract
U radu su ukratko opisane biometrijske karakteristike koje se koriste u biometrijskim sustavima. Navedene su metode koje se koriste kod dizajniranja multimodalnih biometrijskih sustava, a odnose se na normalizaciju rezultata usporedbi biometrijskih uzoraka sa ulaza informacija i biometrijskih uzoraka iz baze podataka. Opisane se osnovne vrste arhitektura koje se koriste kod izgradnje multimodalnih sustava. U radu su također navedeni neko od razloga za uvođenje multimodalnih biometrijskih sustava.
