Abstract
U diplomskom radu analizirana je učinkovitost institucionalne podrške poduzetništvu u Republici Hrvatskoj, s naglaskom na Varaždinsku županiju. Prikazana je raspoloživost poduzetničke infrastrukture (poduzetničke zone te poduzetnički potporne institucije - poduzetnički inkubatori, tehnološki parkovi, poduzetnički centri). Prikazane su djelatnosti koje obavljaju određene institucije i načini financiranja. Posebno je analiziran rad Agencije za razvoj Varaždinske županije (AZRA), te je metodom intervjua prikazana uloga agencije u poduzetništvu Varaždinske županije.
