Abstract
Direktne strane investicije su posljednjih dvadesetak godina postale su glavni izvor vanjskog financiranja zemalja u razvoju, među kojima su se posebno istaknule europske tranzicijske zemlje. U tim je zemljama rasla potreba za financijskim sredstvima koja bi bila dovoljna za pokrivanje rastuće domaće potražnje uslijed nedovoljne domaće ponude i nedovoljne domaće štednje. Da bi same investicije došle do neke države ili poduzeća moraju postojati neki sporazumi koji olakšavaju obostranu suradnju. Kolaborativni sporazumi postaju efikasniji kroz objedinjavanje slične imovine kako bi partneri obavljali aktivnosti u kojima već imaju iskustva.
