Sam pojam “menadžment logističkog lanca“ predstavlja optimizaciju cijelog logističkog lanca zaliha, transporta, usluge kupcima te ostalih logističkih aktivnosti. Menadžment logističkog lanca pridonosi dugoročnom uspjehu poduzeća te su za našu konkurentnost dobavljači, odnosno nabava proizvoda i isporuka proizvoda postali ključni čimbenici
