Abstract
Transportni problem je dio problema linearnog programiranja koji rješava problem prijevoza istovrsnog tereta iz više ishodišta u više odredišta.U ovom radu obrađene su tri metode koje nam omogućavaju dobivanje početnog rasporeda tereta, a to su metoda sjeverozapadnog kuta, metoda minimalnih troškova te Vogelova aproksimativna metoda. Kako bi provjerili je li je dobiveno početno rješenje optimalno koristimo metodu relativnih troškova ili MODI metoda. Također, objašnjeni su slučajevi otvorenog i zatvorenog transportnog problema, degeneracija te problem asignacije i mađarska metoda.
