Abstract
U ovom radu opisan je koncept osiguranja, od njegovog razvitka kroz povijest do osnovnih sudionika i pojmova u osiguranju. Analizirano je tržište osiguranja u Hrvatskoj te je uspoređeno sa tržištem Europe s posebnim naglaskom na tržište životnih osiguranja. Glavni dio rada govori o životnom osiguranju te formiranju cjenika za životna osiguranja. Obrađeni su svi elementi koji utječu na izračun premije od klasičnih aktuarskih (kamate, tablica smrtnosti, troškovi) do marketinških (određivanje cjenovne strategije). Rad sadrži usporedbu 3 ponude za mješovito životno osiguranje.
