Abstract

Zahtjevi korisnika za novi m uslugama potaknuli su razvoj optičkih pristupnih mreža.
Optičke pristupne mreže odgovaraju na sve zahtjeve korisnika za veći prijenosnim brzinama i
pouzdanošću. Uvođenje FTTX tehnologija zahtijeva velika ulaganja u infrastrukturu, no
FTTx tehnologija po optičkim pristupnim mrežama postaju zamjena za xDSL tehnologije
koje su bazirane na bakrenoj parici.

Abstract (english)

Requirements for new services have prompted the development of optical access
networks. Optical access networks respond to all customer requirements for higher
transmission speeds and reliability. The introduction of FTTx technology requires large
investments in infrastructure, but FTTx technologies by optical access networks are becoming
a substitute for xDSL technologies that are based on copper pair.
