Abstract

Ovim radom se ţeli ukazati na poloţaj ţena od 19 stoljeća do danas.
Uvodni dio diplomskog rada bavi se biografijom Marije Jambrišak te njenim likom i djelom u 19 i 20 stoljeću.
Diplomski rad, osim što se bavi biografijom Marije Jambrišak bavi se i općenito ţenskim pitanjem. U 19 stoljeću bile su popularne učiteljske zadruge kojima je bio glavni cilj i svrha pomaganje učiteljskih udovica i siročadi te se u radu pobliţe objašnjava na koji su način djelovale.
Nadalje, u radu se takoĎer vrši usporedba tri ţene ; Marije Jambrišak, Jagode Truhelke i Zdenke Marković. Bile su to tri ţene, tri borca za ţenska prava koje su stvorile podlogu za slobodniji rad ţenama danas.
U to doba su učiteljice imale drugačija prava nego danas, te u mnogočemu bile uskraćene Kroz rad je takoĎer jasno prikazano na koji su se to način ţene organizirale da bi se izborile za svoja prava.

Abstract (english)

The aim of this thesis is to highlight the position of women from the 19th century until today. In the introduction, the biography of Marija Jambrisak and her work in the 19th and 20th century are presented. Apart from the biography, women‟s issues in general are discussed throughout the thesis. Women‟s collectives, which were popular in the 19th century and whose main goal and purpose was helping widowed teachers and orphans, are also presented in more detail. Furthermore, the comparison between Marija Jambrisak, Jagoda Truhelk and Zdenka Markovic is given. They were three great women who fought for women‟s rights and created the basis for the working conditions of the women today. At that time, women who were teachers were deprived of many rights and had to work in different conditions from the ones we know today. Finally, the thesis also depicts the way women organized themselves to fight for their rights.
