Abstract

Ovaj rad se bavi temom Muzičkog salona Kulture promjene Studentskog centra u Zagrebu. Unatoč tome što se rad bavi detaljnije s posljednjih četrnaest godina Muzičkog salona u radu ću se osvrnuti i na uvjete osnivanja kulturne djelatnosti unutar institucije Studentskog centra. Također, u radu ću iznijeti kratki historijat Muzičkog salona koji je značajan za razumijevanje pozicije Muzičkog salona danas. Uz estetičku pozicioniranosti Muzičkog salona i odnosom između glazbe i bogatog arhitektonskog naslijeđa Studentskog centra, u radu ću se detaljnije baviti i odnosom između Muzičkog salona Kulture promjene i neovisne kulture kao i kulturno-političkim previranjima vezanima uz kulturno djelatnost Studentskog centra i njenu trenutnu ugroženost.

Abstract (english)

This paper deals with the subject of the Music Showroom, a part of a much larger concept that exists within Zagreb's Student Center, namely the Culture of Change. Despite the fact that the paper deals in more detail with the last fourteen years of the Music Showroom I will also take a closer look into the conditions of the foundation of the cultural activities at the Student centre. I will also carry out a short history of the Music Showroom which is important in order to understand the position of the Music Showroom today. Besides looking into the aesthetic position of the Music Showroom and the relation between music and the rich architectural heritage of the Student centre I will also look closely into the relation between the Music Showroom, the Culture of Change and the independant culture, as well as the cultural-political turmoils of the cultural activities of the Student centre, and it's current vulnerability.
