Abstract

Logistika djeluje s ciljem postizanja što veće učinkovitosti poslovanja poduzeća i ostvarivanja određenih konkurentskih prednosti koje proizlaze kao rezultat rada zaposlenih u poduzeću, a ne nužno oslanjanje na konkurentske prednosti koje proizlaze iz geografske lokacije poduzeća. Izdvajanje logističkih funkcija iz poduzeća i predavanje tih aktivnosti partnerima, poznatim kao „pružatelji logističkih usluga treće strane (TPL – third party logistics)“, postalo je sve snažnija alternativa tradicionalnoj, vertikalno integriranom poduzeću. Rast broja outsourcing partnerstava pridonio je razvoju fleksibilnijih organizacija na temelju kompetencija i uzajamno korisnih dugoročnih odnosa. Razvoj logističkog outsourcinga, koji je u ovom radu definiran kao savezi između proizvodnih i uslužnih poduzeća i pružatelja logističkih usluga trećih strana, uvelike se temelji na troškovnoj učinkovitosti i koncentraciji na njihove glavne ciljeve. Karakteristike tržišta i poduzeća utječu na odluku o sklapanju višestrukih kombinacija logističkih usluga trećih strana. Te se usluge kreću od pojedinačnih transportnih aktivnosti do integriranih skladišnih, distribucijskih i informacijskih aktivnosti.
Kako bi se primjereno prikazali učinci outsourcinga, provedeno je istraživanje u obliku studija slučajeva primjene outsourcinga u pružanju logističkih usluga na temelju četiri stvarna poduzeća pružatelja logističkih usluga. Provedeno istraživanje analizira poslovanje i životni put poduzeća pružatelja te u konačnici predložiti strategiju koja ostvaruje učinkovitije poslovanje i pospješuje financijske rezultate.

Abstract (english)

Logistics operates with the aim of achieving as much business efficiency as possible and achieving certain competitive advantages as a result of the work of employees in the company, and not necessarily relying on the competitive advantages that arise from the geographical location of the company. Excerpting from logistical functions from the company and lending them to partners, known as "Third Party Logistics (TPL)", has become a more powerful alternative to a traditional, vertically integrated company. The growth of outsourcing partnerships has contributed to the development of more flexible organizations based on competencies and mutually beneficial long-term relationships. The development of logistic outsourcing, defined in this paper as an association between manufacturing and service companies and third party logistics providers, is largely based on cost efficiency and concentration on their main goals. Market and company characteristics affect the decision to conclude multiple combinations of third party logistics services. These services range from individual transportation activities to integrated warehousing, distribution and information activities. In order to properly illustrate the effects of outsourcing, a study has been carried out in the form of case studies of outsourcing applications in the provision of logistic services based on four actual providers of logistics services. The survey carried out analyzes the business and lifestyle of the service provider and ultimately suggests a strategy that achieves more efficient business operations and enhances financial performance.
