Abstract

Definirano je optičko raspoznavanje glazbene notacije i dan je uvod u njegovu primjenu. Opisani su bitni glazbeni pojmovi i njihova svojstva u kontekstu glazbene
notacije. Implementiran je sustav za automatsko raspoznavanje rukom pisanih notnih zapisa. Glazbeni elementi su segmentirani metodama računalnog vida te raspoznati efikasnim metodama strojnog učenja: metodom stroja s potpornim vektorima i metodom k-najbližih susjeda. Zatim je cijela struktura dane glazbene notacije digitalno rekonstruirana u formatu MusicXML. Dani su prijedlozi za poboljšanje i istaknute smjernice za daljnju doradu sustava.

Abstract (english)

Optical music recognition is defined and the introduction to its application is given.
Important musical concepts are described, along with their meaning in the context of
musical notation. System for automatic computer recognition of handwritten sheet
music is implemented. Musical symbols are segmented via computer vision methods
and recognized via efficient machine learning methods: support vector machines and
k-nearest neighbours. Structure of the given sheet music is then digitally reconstructed
in MusicXML format. Suggestions for improvement are given and guidelines for
further refinement of the system are highlighted.
