Abstract

U radu sam obuhvatila kratku povijest interneta i objasnila na koje tri razine ga dijelimo, s naglaskom na Dark Web, te razliku u konotaciji između Deep i Dark Weba. Navela sam kako je moguće pristupiti Dark Webu, zaštititi podatke i osigurati anonimnost, te uz koje alate. Prema dostupnim podacima razložila sam prednosti i mane Dark Weba, odnosno koja je njegova glavna svrha, a koje su posljedice zlouporabe Dark Weba od strane pojedinaca. Podijelila sam i objasnila korisnike Dark Weba s obzirom na sadržaj kojem pristupaju, navodeći i primjere mrežnih stranica za određeni sadržaja. Također, objasnila sam regulaciju Dark Weba od strane snaga za osiguranje javnog reda i mira i navela primjere uspješnih istraga.

Abstract (english)

In this paper I described the short history of the Internet and explained its three different levels, focusing primarly on the Dark Web, and the connotational differences between the Deep and Dark Web. I explained how to access the Dark Web, protect your data and secure anonimity, and which tools to use. In accordance with the available data, I provided insight into the positive and negatives aspects of the Dark Web, meaning its main purpose and the results of the misuse of the Dark Web. I enumerated and described Dark Web users based on the content they access, and provided examples of websites featuring such content. Moreover, I explained how law enforcement agencies regulate the Dark Web, and provided a few examples of successful investigations.
