Abstract

Pandemija COVID-a-19 imala je veliki utjecaj na svakodnevan život i rad ljudi diljem svijeta. S promijenjenim radnim uvjetima suočili su se i psiholozi. Cilj ovog istraživanja bio je utvrditi s kojim su se izazovima susreli psiholozi u granama organizacijske, školske, kliničke i zdravstvene psihologije za vrijeme rada tijekom pandemije. Provedbom dubinskih intervjua s devet psihologinja te provedbom tematske analize na dobivenim podacima dobili smo uvid u ključne izazove rada. Sudionice su u najvećoj mjeri spominjale izazove u postavljanju granica između privatnog i poslovnog, radu online te ograničenjima koja su donijele mjere zaštite te stres koji je proizašao iz straha od zaraze i manjka informacija. Vjeruju da će digitalne tehnologije nastaviti bivati dio rada psihologa u budućnosti te da je pandemija imala pozitivan utjecaj na svjesnost o važnosti psihičkog zdravlja. Preporuka za daljnja istraživanja je otkrivanje posebnih stresora te njihova utjecaja na radni učinak i psihičku dobrobit psihologa, kao i uspostava smjernica za rad tijekom kriznih situacija korištenjem digitalne tehnologije.

Abstract (english)

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a great impact on everyday and work life of people around the world. Psychologists also faced changes in work conditions. The goal of this research was to determine challenges faced by psychologists in the field of organizational, school, clinical and health psychology while working in pandemic conditions. By conducting in-depth interviews with 9 psychologists and using thematic analysis we have gained insight into main challenges. Participants mentioned difficulties with setting private and work life boundaries, online work and working under restrictions due to public health and social measures, as well as stress resulting from the fear of infection and lack of information. They believe that digital technologies will continue to be a part of psychology practice in the future and that the pandemic has had a positive impact on mental health awareness. The recommendation for future research is discovering specific stressors and their impact on the work performance and psychological well-being of psychologists, as well as the establishment of guidelines for work during protective measures and with digital technologies.
