Abstract
U radu su izdvojene četiri uspješne metode izrade visoko poroznih polimernih i kompozitnih skeleta: elektropredenje, liofilizacija, ispiranje čestica porogena i toplinski potaknuto razdvajanje faza.

Parallel abstract (English)
The aim of this work is to give a brief literature review of methods for preparing porous scaffolds used in tissue engineering. Tissue engineering is an interdisciplinary field that applies the principles of life science and engineering to produce engineered tissues for the repair and replacement of damaged tissues or organs. In tissue engineering, scaffolds play a crucial role. Scaffolds are three-dimensional structures made from biological materials and biomaterials, which fulfil the necessary requirements for cell attachment and growth. Scaffolds made of polymers, ceramics or composites; have to possess specific characteristics such as high porosity, high surface area, three-dimensional shape, biocompatibility and biodegradability. In this work, four successful methods for highly porous polymer and composite scaffold preparation are pointed out: electrospinning, freeze-drying, particulate leaching and thermally induced phase separation. Each method has unique advantages in the production of scaffolds for tissue engineering.
