Abstract

Cilj ovog rada je ukazati na postojanje nasilja u obitelji djece s teškoćama u razvoju. Nadalje, rad nastoji dati prikaz postojeće zakonske regulative, vrsta nasilja i njihovih posljedica. Također, na temelju dosadašnjih spoznaja prikazana je specifičnost položaja djece s teškoćama u razvoju te prepreke u prijavi nasilja nad istom djecom. Naglašava se i prevencija kao bitan čimbenik u smanjenju stope nasilja. Budući da je ovaj problem nedovoljno istražen, ukazuje se na potrebu dodatnih istraživanja nasilja nad djecom s teškoćama u razvoju.

Abstract (english)

The objective of this paper is to present the existance of domestic violence in families of children with developmental disabilities. Furthermore, the paler intends to present the existing legal regulations, the types of violence and their consequences. Moreover, based on the findings so far, the paper shows the specificity of the position of disabled children and the obstacles in reporting violence to the same children. Prevention is also an important factor in reducing the rate of violence. Since this problem is insufficiently researched, there is a need for additional research on violence against disabled children.
