Abstract

U ovom diplomskom radu nastoji se prikazati poslovanje OMV grupe kroz posljednjih
nekoliko godina. Obrađene su osnove strateškog menadžmenta, počevši od utvrđivanja
misije tvrtke do implementacije odabrane strategije. U radu su prikazani podaci o
proizvodnji i rezervama nafte, plina i plinskog kondenzata OMV grupe u razdoblju od
2005. do 2010. godine. Opisana je opća struktura i organizacija tvrtke te rezultati
poslovanja najznačajnijih poslovnih jedinica. Ujedno su izneseni i objašnjeni najbitniji
strateški ciljevi tvrtke, pojedinih poslovnih jedinica te njihova implementacija i značaj.
Opisane su trenutačne operativne aktivnosti tvrtke, uključujući najbitniji sadašnji i budući
projekti te utjecaj krize i cijena nafte na poslovanje.

Abstract (english)

Abstract: In this graduate thesis the business model, including the overall portfolio and activities of
OMV group in the last few years have been described. The fundamentals of strategic
management, ranging from the mission statement to the implementation of the chosen
company strategy have also been described. This graduate thesis presents data on
production and reserves of oil, gas and condensate in the period since 2005 to 2010. The
general structure and organization of the company are described, including the operating
results of the most important business units. The thesis also presents and explains the most
important strategic objectives of the company including their implementation and
significance. Major operational activities of the company are described, including the most
important current and future projects, as well as the impact of the crisis and oil price on
business activities.
