Abstract

Cilj ovoga rada bio je provesti istraživanje među roditeljima predškolske djece kako bi se procijenila kvaliteta provođenja slobodnog vremena djece. U slobodno vrijeme svaki pojedinac može i treba birati one aktivnosti koje njemu pružaju zadovoljstvo. U svrhu pisanja ovog završnog rada provedeno je istraživanje kroz online anketu među 50 roditelja predškolske djece. Prema rezultatima ankete 71,4% djece samostalno bira kako će provoditi svoje slobodno vrijeme, a 42% djece ima više od 4 sata dnevno za samostalno odabrane aktivnosti. Većina djece, njih 28% je u svoje slobodno vrijeme tjelesno aktivno više od 3 sata dnevno dok je isti postotak djece tjelesno aktivan 1-2 sata dnevno. 46,9% djece provodi 60-90 minuta svog slobodnog vremena boraveći na zraku, u parku ili na igralištu, a njih 28% vrijeme provodi u sportskim aktivnostima. Zabrinjavajući je postotak od 26% djece koja svoje slobodno vrijeme provodi pred računalom, televizijom ili mobitelom, a 24% djece vrijeme provodi u sjedilačkoj igri. Od organiziranih sportskih aktivnosti djeca se najčešće bave nogometom, 27,6%, a drugo mjesto zauzima ples kojim se bavi 24,1% djece. Djeca se organiziranim sportskim aktivnostima najčešće bave 1-2 puta tjedno,67,9%. Što se tiče aktivnosti koje nisu sportskoga tipa, većina djece pohađa satove stranog jezika, a u većini su to satovi engleskog. Na ovaj tip aktivnosti 77,8% djece troši 1-2 sata dnevno. Nadovezujući se na temu provođenja vremena ispred računala, televizije i mobitela, dobiva se podatak da 52,1% djece pred ekranima provodi 30-60 minuta svoga vremena dnevno. 75,5% roditelja smatra kako njihovo dijete kvalitetno provodi svoje vrijeme dok njih 24,5% smatra da slobodno vrijeme njihove djece nije kvalitetno iskorišteno. Kao odgovor na posljednje pitanje, 35 roditelja se potvrdno izjasnilo odnosno njih 70% potiče svoje dijete na tjelesne aktivnosti u slobodno vrijeme. Kao najčešći oblik ističu šetnje u prirodi te vožnju biciklom.

Abstract (english)

The aim of this thesis was to spend research among parents of preschool children to assess the quality of free time of children. In free time every individual can and should choose activities which provide satisfaction. For the purpose of writing this thesis, research was conducted through an online survey among 50 parents of preschool children. According to the results, 71,4% of children independently chooses how they will spend their free time and 42% of children have more than 4 hours per day for their independently choosed activities. Most children, 28% of them are physically active more than 3 hours per day and same percentage of children are physically active 1-2 hours per day. 46,9% of children spend 60-90 minutes of their free time in outdoors activities and 28% of them spend times in physical activities. It is very worrisome data that 26% of children spend their free time in front of TV, computer or mobile phone and 24% of children spend free time in passive play. From organized sports activities, children are mostly involved in football, 27,6%, and the second place takes dance with percentage of 24,1% of children. Children spend 1-2 time a week in organized sports activities, 67,9%. As far as non-sports activities are concerned, most children attend foreign language lessons, usually English. 77,8% of children spend 1-2 hours per day for this type of activity. Drawing on the subject of time consumed in front of TV, computer or mobile phone, it is reported that 52,1% of children spend 30-60 minutes per day in front of the screens. 75,5% of parents think that their children spend quality free time and 24,5% of them think that free time of their children is not used properly. In response to the last question, 35 parents or 70% respond that they encouraged their children to physical activities in their free time. As the most common form stands out walking in nature and cycling.
