Crkva sv. Jeronima u Štrigovi u kontekstu pavlinske arhitekture
-
Ana-Marija Horvat Crkva sv.

Croatian EFL learners' affective response to different oral corrective feedback types

Lara Jukić The interest in learners’ beliefs about oral corrective feedback (OCF) has increased in the last couple of decades. However, there are still very few studies that inspect learners’ beliefs about different OCF types. There is likewise a serious lack of research on the emotional impact that correction has on learners, given the voiced concerns about its detrimental effects on learners’ FL learning motivation and development. This research study thus investigated learners’ beliefs and...

Croatian University Students’ Acceptance of Swearwords in Subtitles: A reception study
-
Josip Biondić Swearwords in subtitles have always been a hot topic in audiovisual translation (AVT). In Croatia, public broadcasters tend to censor them, while content providers such as Netflix do their best to include them in their subtitles. Previous international studies have found that gender, political orientation, and religiousness influenced the reception of swearwords in original language audience, but few AVT studies focused on how these factors impact the reception of swearwords. This research...

Crteži Vere Dajht-Kralj
-

Crveni porfir – simbolika i moć carskog kamena
-
